Introductory Appointment – 80min
Julia will start by getting your medical history and symptoms. she will have a short conversation with you to find out what she’ll be treating and to see if there are any potential complications for medications or health conditions to consider.
After which an exam is done which is vert similar to a doctor’s exam. Julia might look at your body and do a physical touch exam to determine where there are energy imbalances. This physical examination might involve other steps, such as feeling your pulse and looking at your tongue.

Follow-up Treatment – 50min
Acupuncture follow ups are for continuing your treatment plan after the initial appointment. Symptoms, new and old and progress will be continuously assessed at each of these appointments. The main focus of this session is acupuncture and other therapeutic methods will be used in conjunction to enhance treatment.

Video Treatment – 30min
Video Treatments are a type of Acupuncture follow up that’s done over the computer, giving instruction on pressure point treatment. These type of treatments, while not ideal nor suited for all patients it is an alternate way for you to continue your treatment plan without having to attend the clinic. Similar to a follow-up treatment, symptoms, new and old and progress will be continuously assessed at each of these appointments. The main focus of this session is assisting clients with utilizing pressure points so that they can self administer when attending the clinic is unavailable.
