1. Male,30Y. Neck and upper back pain. Neck mobility limited due to pain; 45˚ left & right, 30˚ backwards & forwards. Upper back left to right motion was also limited to maximum of 30˚ due to the pain the patient was experiencing.
    • After Initial treatment, neck was 100% pain free, allowing full mobility, and upper back pain was reduced by 50%.
    • After 2nd treatment, post 3 days, neck pain remained absent, upper back was pain free.
  2. Female, 69Y Frozen Shoulder. Patient awoke with left shoulder frozen, restricting movement in any direction. Pain was extensive, which in turn kept her awake for the better part of two days.
    • After Initial treatment, immediate response was shoulder pain was reduced by 30%, range of motion increased by 30%.
    • Following morning patient noted that pain reduced by
      90% and range of motion limited to just stiffness.
    • After 2nd treatment, post two days. Patient noted that they were pain free, and had full motion restored
  3. Female, 58 years, Sciatic pain, While golfing patient started having sciatic pain on her right side, radiating down to knee. Patient endures for 1 week prior to attending clinic after which time pain had increased to 10/10.
    • After Initial treatment, Patient noted that the pain was 90% gone but still experienced some stiffness.
    • After 2nd treatment, post 3 days, Patient noted that they were pain free and no stiffness remained.
  4. Female, 60y. Long Term Hypoesthesia (numbness) Patient attended clinic noting Right hand numbness since 2018, worse at night time. 1 month prior to attending clinic patient started experiencing a painful burning sensation on tips of fingers, with pain increasing as time went on. The pain and numbness hampered her sleep waking her 10-15 times per night. Patient further noted that the affected hand was uncomfortably hot to the touch.
    • After initial treatment, numbness and pain both 100% gone, temperature of the hand was normal.
    • Patient didn’t come back for 2nd treatment
  5. Female 66y, Car accident. Patient attended clinic 5-days after a car accident noting headaches radiating from left side of neck to the left top of head. Left side of face had minor Hypoesthesia (numbness) around temporal area, getting worse at night. Additional pain in left side glutes, right shoulder mobility restrictions, HBP (High Blood Pressure) and loose stools.
    • After 6 treatments, headaches reduced by 75%, remaining pain in left side of the neck, and glutes is subtle, coming and going sporadically.
    • After 12 treatments, patient noting zero pain remaining, uninterrupted sleep, normal bowl movements.
    • After 16 treatments, blood pressure returned to normal.
    • Weekly follow-up treatments have since addressed/resolved minor arthritis in toes and other age related issues
  6. Male, 30Y. Neck pain. Sneezing Trauma resulting in persistent moderate to high neck, shoulder blades, scapular and spine pain 7/10.
    • After initial treatment, areas experiencing pain 90% resolved with only right upper back between shoulder blades remaining.
    • After the 2nd treatment, post 4 days. Patient pain free
  7. Female, 30Y stress tension. After moving across the country, selling a home, and starting a new business, patient attended clinic noting tension, shooting pain and Paresthesia (tingling) in upper neck, trapezium, back of head area.
    • After initial treatment, patient was surprised that tension was all but gone, and that pain was 60% better.
    • Patient did not attend for a second treatment
  8. 21Y Male, Car accident. Patient attended clinic 3-days after a car accident noting major stiffness in neck & back, headaches, and joint & abdominal pain. Patient also had pre-existing conditions consisting of poor appetite, loose stool and/or constipation, sleep disorder, depression, anxiety, irritability, bouts of sadness, lack of joy in life, fearfulness, and sugar cravings
    • After 8 treatments Neck/ headache issue were resolved, patient then participated in a half marathon which aggravated some symptoms. Patient noted that his sleep and emotions were more under control, but digestive issues and back pain were still on & off.
    • After 12 treatments, patient feels he can function well all day physically and emotionally. Patient reported that he still experiences moderate on & off back pain but with less intensity and shorter durations
    • After 20 treatments, sleep is good, digestion is good, pain is gone, emotion is good.
    • Patient attended another 10 treatments as maintenance, to keep his body in alignment and to ensure that no reoccurrence of car accident or pre-existing conditions resurfaced.
  9. 59Y Female Car Accident, Patient attended clinic 3-weeks after a car accident where she was still experiencing some mild shoulder/neck/low back pain. She had additional concerns with abdominal cramping, bloating, frequent bowl movement & urination, and low appetite. Her Family doctor had done multiple test but was yet unable to diagnose the reasons nor provide relief.
    • After initial treatment, priority given to addressing shoulder/neck/low back pain which was 90% relieved
    • After 12 treatments, shoulder/neck/low back pain were gone, bowl movements to just over normal, urination frequency dropped to almost normal, abdominal pain is noticeably less and less frequent.
    • After 20 treatments, patient notes almost no abdominal pain and is comfortable, frequency of urination is normal, bowl movements just above normal, and she has improved appetite.
    • After 30 treatments, no abdominal pain, regular bowl movements, and appetite is good.
    • Patient continues to attend weekly for maintenance, that as her schedule allows.
  10. 76Y male, Neck & back pain. Patient attended clinic suffering from acute neck & back pain, Hypoesthesia (numbness) and Paresthesia (tingling) from right shoulder to finger tips prevalent in the mornings. Family physician recommendation was for surgery but with no guarantee of success. Patient opted to give Acupuncture a try as he had heard it had worked for others and that it was non-invasive. Patient also noted mild sinus issues, where he sneezes a lot in the morning.
    • After initial treatment, Neck & back pain was gone, Hypoesthesia and Paresthesia while still there were noticeably less.
    • After 5 treatments, Hypoesthesia and Paresthesia only mildly affected 3 fingers. Patient reported his sinus had cleared up, and had no more sneezing.
    • Patient will continue to attend for maintenance and to address age related issues including an enlarged prostate.
  11. 64Y Female, neck & upper back pain. Patient attended clinic noting long term neck and back pain. Symptoms had not changed for 7 years, New symptom of a headache in the mornings after breakfast.
    • After Initial treatment, Neck and upper back pain had been reduced by 70%
    • After third treatment all neck & upper back pain and headaches were gone.
    • Patient continues to attend for maintenance and to address age related issues
  12. 80Y Female, shoulder pain. Patient attended clinic reporting shoulder pain, and burning in her calf’s after walking anything more than 10mins
    • After 4 treatments, her shoulder pain and calf burning sensation was 40% better
    • After 15 treatments, shoulder pain was gone, burning sensation was non existent unless she did long walks.
    • Patient continues to come once a month for maintenance
  13. 51Y Female, Knee Pain. Patient attended clinic reporting left knee pain.
    • After two treatments, the knee pain was 90% better.
    • While having treatments, Patient contracted Covid19, and returned to clinic where she was treated for shortness of breath, back pain, vertigo, and emotional issues.
  14. 64Y Female, Hip Pain. Patient attended clinic reporting that 2 days prior she started having left hip pain, resulting in she couldn’t bend over nor walk upstairs.
    • After 3 treatments, 100% relieve and she reported feeling good.
  15. 69Y Male, lower back tightness, Patient attended clinic reporting tightness in his lower back, and cramps on and off for 30 years.
    • After first treatment, patient noted that tightness was substantially better.
    • After 3rd treatment, he mentioned that he could help his son to move hot tub and such things which he’d been unable to do for long time.
  16. 12Y Male, Low back pain. Brave young man attended clinic with his parents reporting lower back pain.
    • After initial treatment, the young man is pain free
  17. 69Y Male, Coxa (Hip Region) Stiffness. Patient attended clinic reporting stiffness in/around the Hip area, additionally, lack of muscle strength for years, Pain in wrists, and digestive issues. Patient noted that he was a heavy machinery operator, working 8-10 hours a day.
    • After 5 treatments, substantial relief, so much so that he went dancing for about two hours, and it didn’t give him much discomfort after. (pre treatments, he’d been unable)
    • After 10 treatments, he mentioned that he wrist also feel better and stronger, , and his digestive system seems getting better as well.
    • He continues comes in once a week for maintenance and he has been supplied with instructions on how to do acupressure at home by himself.
  18. 47Y Female, Neck pain. Patient attended clinic reporting moderate to severe neck pain.
    • After initial treatment, she immediately felt that the pain completely gone, this after the placement of the needles being put in. The pain came back the next day but with less intensity.
    • After 3 treatments, patient reported that pain was gone.
  19. 18Y Female, Lower Back Pain. University student, and basketball player attended clinic reporting lower back pain. She has been suffering low back pain since she was 13 years old and it had recently gotten worse.
    • After initial treatment, patient reported that the pain was gone.
    • Patient attended for a second treatment, this for headache which was immediately relieved.  At this time she noted that back pain was still gone
  20. 70Y Female, Shoulder pain, Patient attended clinic noting left shoulder pain, and right outside foot pain.
    • After 6 treatments the pain was all gone.
    • Patient attended once again noting lower pack pain, which was removed in that treatment.
  21. 68Y Male, Neck muscle contraction. Patient attended clinic reporting that 10 day’s prior to attending, he felt his neck starting to lock up, his range of motion was only 15˚, Patient had tried different ways for relief but couldn’t get any help.
    • After initial treatment, he could turn his neck right/left around 60˚.
    • After 2nd treatment, he felt substantially better but still some residue stiffness.
    • After 3rd treatments, patient noted he was all good.
  22. 58Y Male, tennis elbow, Patient attended clinic noting that he’d had Tennis Elbow for about a year. He had tried different cures etc. but with little to no relief.
    • During initial treatment, 5 minutes into to having needles in, patient stated that pain was already reduced. After full treatment, patient stated that pain was gone.
  23. 46Y Male, Sciatic Pain, Lower Back. Patient attended clinic noting lower back nerve pain which had started approximately 4 months prior this as a result of lifting a heavy object. The pain level had ramped up recently, this to severe, 8/10 – 9/10, and he was finding it difficult to walk, and was mainly bed ridden. Patient reported nerve pain radiating down to left shin, this being new within the last couple weeks prior to visit.  
    • After Initial treatment, patient noted that the pain 80% less around 10mins after needles were placed. As well he started feeling the numbness in his shin receding slowly.
    • After the treatment, when he got up from the treatment table, walking around in the room, he found he had no low back pain. He didn’t reattend.
  24. 80Y Female, Mini Stroke. Patient attended clinic noting that she’d had a mini stroke in the summer, and that she has been feeling cold on the left side of the body, especially foot and hand. She also reported frequency urination throughout the day with it being worse in the morning. She has had middle back pain (pain level 5/10 – 7/10) for approximately 15 years, the pain in turn waking her nightly resulting in her not easiliy being able to fall back to sleep. Patient also reported right foot arch pain for 3 years, with the pain level upwards of 8/10
    • After 5 treatments, no foot arch pain, the coldness of left foot and hand is reduced.
    • After 12 treatments, less frequent urination, back pain is noticeably less, although it still wakes her up at midnight, she is able to fall back sleep right away. The coldness of left side body is 50% better
    • After 18 treatments, she said she feels like she is 60 again, instead of being 80. Her back pain improving, she now feel hot during treatments this with same blanket covering her, and she doesn’t feel the cold of the left side body anymore. She came in once every two weeks, and then once every one or two months for maintenance.
  25. 51Y Female, Vertigo, Nausea. Patient attend clinic suffering from vertigo and nausea which was getting worse when she tried to read anything in front of her or if she were moving fast. This an after-effect of covid. She has to stay home as she couldn’t drive.
    • After Initial treatment, patient immediately started feeling less dizzy
    • After 5 treatments. Patient report no more nausea sensation and she was able to drive short distance
    • After 10 treatments patient’s appetite was better.
    • After 20 treatments, patient noted all issues resolved and was discharged.
  26. 56Y Male, Lower Back Pain. Patient attend clinic reporting lower back pain, also requesting help with a persistent sinus issue. Patient noted that he already had surgery booked this to help the sinus, as he was finding it difficult to breath. The surgery was scheduled for 2 weeks later.
    • After Initial treatment, lower back pain was resolved, and he felt his sinus issue to be a lot better.
    • After 3 treatments, his sinus issue was continuing to improve and he in turn canceled his surgery.
    • After 7 treatments, he felt the sinus issue 90% resolved.
    • After 12 treatments, patient felt that his sinus issue was all but resolved.
    • Patient attended another 4 treatments for maintenance and then was discharged.

Women’s Issues

  1. Female, 34Y. Anxiety/anger/depression/sadness. Patient attended clinic noting Anxiety/anger/depression/sadness, which had gotten worse since she’d given birth to her third child three years prior. Depression had dropped so low that patient had thought about suicide the year prior. She is taking medication for her emotional issues. She reported IBS for the last 15 years, and she reported abdominal pain so severe that she needs to call an ambulance to go to emergency room. She suffers from fibromyalgia along outside of her thighs. Her left upper arm is painful at night time which interupts her sleep. And she gets migrate headache from time to time.  
    • After 3 treatments, belly pain is all but gone, no upper arm pain, fibromyalgia pain is better and she found she could sleep on her side. She further reported having more energy to do her daily routine.
    • After 20 treatments, she is feeling substantially better, and is want to keep coming every month or two for maintenance.
  2. Female, 38Y. Anxiety/depression/fatigue with shoulder pain, Patient attended clinic noting Anxiety/depression/fatigue/insomnia also some shoulder and mid – low back pain, reporting a pain level 4/10 – 8/10. Patient noted that she’d had to quit her job 6 month’s prior because her body/mind couldn’t function well.
    • After Initial treatment, the pain was noticeably getting better.
    • After 30 treatments, she is pain free, anxiety free, not depressed, and is feeling emotionally good and with more energy.
    • Patient visits every month or two for maintenance.

Digestive Issues

  1. 64Y Female, TMJ, alternating loose/ constipation, emotion issues (anxiety, depression, fearful, sad)
    • After two treatments, Emotional issues all but resolved
    • After 10 treatments, she had no more TMJ problem
    • After 20 treatments, her appetite is normal, bowl movement is regular
    • She came in once every one or two months for energy boosting
  2. 84Y Female, No appetite, constipation, allergies, lower abdominal bloating, itchy scalp, dry mouth.
    • After 8 treatments, she had regular bowl movement, a little better appetite, no more lower abdominal bloating, no more itchy scalp skin and no more dry mouth,
    • After 20 treatments, she enjoys cooking and have good appetite
  3. 89Y Female, low appetite, easily constipated, sitting bone painful, balance / vertigo while she is walking, weak legs and knees, unstable emotions, easy to cry and sometimes feel depression. Shortness of breath when speaking, unrestful sleep. Note that family doctor diagnosed vertigo, and that KD function is a little bit weak.
    • After two treatments, sitting bone pain is gone, and patient was feeling emotionally happier After 12 treatments, patient noted that she’d gained some strength in her legs and she was happy to note: “Look at me bouncing up from the chair”
    • After 20 treatments, she is able speak without any shortness of breath, appetite is better, sleeping 8 hours straight, and bowl movements are better
  4. 84Y Female, bad appetite, emotion issues (mood swing between anger and sad), frontal lobe headaches, neck and shoulder pain, no interested in doing things, couldn’t sleep after 3am
    • After 8 treatments, she experienced no more pain
    • After 15 treatments, she has good appetite
    • After 20treatments, she starting showing interested in things

Men’s Issues

  1. 12Y boy bed wetting. Young mother attended clinic with her 12yr old son reporting that the young man was unable to stop bed wetting.
    • After 2 treatments, young man lasted for that night
    • After 6 treatments, young man noted that he’d been good for many nights,
  2. 76Y male, Upper Body Pain, Enlarged Prostate. Patient attended clinic noting Hypoesthesia (numbness) and pain in his neck, back and arms. Patient also asked for help with an enlarged prostate as well as desire to have his sexual life back. Patient has been on medication for 3yrs for urinary issues. During initial treatment, focus was placed on the enlarged prostate, patient requested that the treatment be ended 15min early because of an urgency to urinate. Patient noted that he hadn’t experienced such sensation for quite some time. Patient reported increased pressure and volume.
    • After 5 treatments, patient felt about 25% better but couldn’t return as he was heading south for the winter. He will continue his treatment after he is back home in the spring.
  3. 56Y Male, Elbow Pain. Patient attended clinic initially noting elbow pain, but when onsite requested help with an enlarged prostate, that while not severe he had been taking medication for in hopes of reducing the frequency of his urination at night.
    • After 6 treatments, he was able to stop with the medication, additionally allowing him to sleep through the night, where previously he woke up to urinate 1-2 times.
    • After 12 treatments, he didn’t need to get up to pee for two weeks in row.
    • He continued coming for maintenance once a month for 6months and has since been discharged.

Respiratory issues

  1. 49Y female, While in town visiting family, she was referred to the clinic by a family member. Patient had heart palpitations, feeling that sometimes it skips a beat, hard to catch her breath, feel chest tight sometimes. She thinks it happened post Covid. Family doctor prescribed medication for her to try but she reported it didn’t help.
    • After 2nd treatments before she was going back home, she was able to go hiking, and found that her breath was totally fine even if she was carrying a 40 pounds backpack. Additionally, she didn’t experience any tightness in her chest.
    • Patient asked if acupuncture could help with making her emotionally stronger so that she could deal with the things back home.
      • Yes acupuncture can help but unfortunately it wont be done by one treatment.
  2. 51Y Female, Post covid, she was suffering chest tight, upper back tight, short of breath, base of neck pain, low back pain. She has a history of sleep apnea, and does sleep with a machine.
    • After initial treatment, patient reported that her chest feels better / open and upper back is loose, she noted that she could breath in deeply without issue.

Pregnancy

  1. 30Y Female, 35weeks pregnant, breech baby. Patient who being 35 weeks pregnant with her 2nd child attended clinic in hopes that she’d be able to have a natural child birth. Patients 1st child was born with C-section and she was told that her uterus was a heart shape. She wants to have more babies so she wants to try natural birth for her 2nd child
    • After Initial treatment, breech position corrected, baby turned its head down
    • She came in 2 times/week for ripening instead of 3 times/week that she was recommended. I was away when she was in her 38weeks pregnancy. So in total she has 6 sessions for ripening.
      • Later I received an email from patient …… Hey I hope you’re having a lovely vacation! Look who arrived Sunday morning at 12:30 am! My early labor was about 20 hours but after that I went from 5-10 cm in less than an hour and pushed for almost an hour and she was born. Thank you so much for all of your help I think all of the prep work helped make the end part of labor so much faster!’
